Think About It
A downloadable Think About It
You seem to be employed to work on something that makes no sense, but, well, that's work in general isn't it?
Maybe you can do it faster than your coworkers? It could spice things up.
Right?
---------------- SOME BUGS----------------
Not sure I'll resolve them one day, but just so you know:
- Pause screen works during gameplay, but not at the very end
- The more the gameplay last, the more the character seems to be moved around
- Don't pause the game during the Camera movement or it will desynchronize camera movement and music
---------------- NOTES----------------
[Spoilers ahead]
When I strated working on this game, I wanted to create a little gameplay looking like the Severance show.
I started to create a scene with just a computer, numbers to select, and a final message.
But then I wanted to add a bit more :
- A character animation
- A chrono so player want to be fast
- Music
- Lights
- Camera movement
- A whole scene full of other characters
- A fade to black at the beginning
- Sound design
- ...
I realised everytime I added something new, a new idea came out.
It's great really! Starting with something small and then having a lot of new ideas coming around.
But the goal of this small projet is to be a POC (proove of concept), to try out new things, not to make it a full polish game.
As of right now, when I'm publishing this game, I wanted to:
- Add an alternative ending
- Add a voice over
- Replace the Laika's image at the end by a newspaper's screenshot
But I have other projects I want to focus on. And I don't want to eternally upgrade this one. So I stop myself right where I think the game is "good" enough compare to what I had in mind originally.
Hope you'll enjoy it :)
